“Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful parts of us” – David Richo

Now accepting new clients.

Through my own self-work in therapy, I’ve realized that my greatest vulnerabilities and self-perceived weaknesses have always been my strongest assets. The result? My capacity to empathically attune myself to others was a crystal clear “calling” to the field of counseling. Today, my love for connecting with and learning about people, resonating with experiences but appreciating differences, and ultimately knowing where I can be of service in a person’s life serves as evidence of that calling.

I find myself in awe of the ways the human condition can be shared between us all…”

While the rollercoaster of life is unique to each of us, we all share in the ebb and flow of life. As a relational therapist, I find myself in awe of the ways the human condition can be shared between us all, and it reminds me that we are never truly alone. I set out to understand what differentiates you, paying close attention to identity, culture, and social systems. My goal is to identify and understand the relationship between internal and external forces that shape who you are and for you to better understand how you got here. This kind of self-knowledge is invaluable; it empowers you to cope with, adapt to, and grow from whatever life brings your way. A strengths-based lens helps me recognize and praise the positive, special pieces that are unique to you.

I am a Masters-level Counselor-in-Training

I am currently attending Northwestern University, working toward a Master of Arts in Counseling through the program Counseling@Northwestern. My current education has prepared me to counsel adults experiencing a variety of life challenges, and I will continue to receive close supervision, collaboration, and consultation to provide you with the best care possible. I am happy to be with Seity for my practicum from September 2022 through May 2023.

With unconditional positive regard, transparency, and humor, I will always strive to facilitate a safe and stable environment so that I can encourage you to be vulnerable, honest, and reflective… all while connecting with you in the process.

With all of my spirit and with the deepest belief in you, let us embark on this journey of discovery, growth, and healing.

I have a special interest in working with folks in mid-late life, LGBTQIA+ folks, and neurodiversity.
